I am “big city” born and raised.  I grew up in New York City and, after graduate school, lived 11 years in West Palm Beach, Florida before moving to Los Angeles in 1986.  I realized that 21 years in LA was more than enough when I first set foot in Ferndale in October, 2006.  One day was all I needed to realize that Ferndale was my new home!  I put an offer on a fixer up-er, went back to LA, put my house on the market and told clients and friends that I was gone as soon as the house sold.

I was living in Ferndale by the following Memorial Day, May 2007.

I restored the 1896 Victorian.  I settled into a small town routine and became a part of a new small town “family” as if this has been “home” all my life.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (CA License #MFC22030).  I found a great job at the local community college, College of the Redwoods, where I do crisis intervention counseling, and started a private practice in Ferndale.

I love it here and I know you will enjoy your stay in Ferndale.  I am here to help make your visit in Ferndale a pleasant one, and I hope you enjoy your stay at Peaceful View Vacation Rental.
